1st Double Page Analysis
Language - The language throughout this article and image shows that the main focus of it is something about Oasis, because of how we can see easily that there is content about Oasis and that the main image is also to do with Oasis that there is a dominant feature in the article of the band. The way that that the spread is ordered is also to do with the band due to the fact that there have been clashes within the band and this is also shown in the pull quote on the left side of the spread, they have also highlighted ANOTHER OASIS in orange to make it stand out this is an example of tease content due to the fact that a fan or Oasis might simply be drawn to those words and then would likely read the rest of the article.
Institution - The institution which publishes for NME is IPC Media.
Ideology - The way that this spread is ordered has the band shown as dominant in the frame, we can also take the fact that one of the members of Oasis is there and telling us their opinion that they don't think there will be another Oasis or another band which can replicate them, we can also take the fact that since Oasis had so many disagreements throughout their lifetime with each other that people can always pull together and do what matters when it needs to be done, the photograph however adds a sort of moody atmosphere into the frame, due to the way they seem to be looking down on the reader.
Audience - Fans of Oasis, NME readers and people who generally just read anything which interests them.
Representation - This spread shows that Oasis are made up of people of different styles, as we see there are people wearing leather, shirts and t-shirts, this helps the reader realise that they are not that different apart from their job, however the fact that they are looking down on the audience from the long shot low angle camera makes them seem very dominant in the frame as though they are judging you.
